Incredibly Affordable Jewelry - Silent Gypsy

How Lucky are we? LuckyMag.com profiled the delightful Monique Malkowski of Silent Gypsy Jewelry for their "Lucky Right Now" section. Good stuff:

Decadestwo SATC Wrap-up

Alas, just two months ago, we were in full-force with Decadestwo. The luxury consignment retailer's 3rd New York City pop-up shop was even bigger and better than the last...until the hottest, most fun idea ever came about: their SATC-inspired fantasy apartment! I'll be the first to admit I am kind of over 'Sex' (you know what I mean!). The series was so incredible and the first movie was fun, but depressing. The only reason I am even excited about the second flick is for the clothes. In true Patricia Field fashion (no pun intended), the stylist maven has gone above and beyond for the SATC2 looks. With that in mind, Decadestwo co-owner Christos Garkinos had the brilliant idea to curate a Manhattan dream apartment at the Chelsea Enclave, complete with a bedroom styled for Carrie with two walk-in closets and Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda-inspired designer clothing, shoes and bags filling the incredible 3,200 square foot space! Some sample goods:

What an event! The weekend was a huge success. Here is some of the fantastic press we received:

Spring is in the air!

Like most people, sunny weather makes me happy. But as a Floridian, once the gray skies turn blue and the temperature goes above 65, I am immediately cheered up, energized and flat out excited about life. Some might question why I would live in a city with very little of this kind of weather and a lot more drab, rainy and cold days. But alas, it's New York City, which speaks for itself, and I suppose all of those not-so-great days make the beautiful ones that much more special (plus I can always go home to sunny FL to visit Mom & Dad). I have had such a great week: runs along the west side highway, exciting meetings and visits with friends.

Last night I had the pleasure of meeting Ansley of dora Mae Jewelry at her NYC trunk show. Not only was the designer a delight, but her collection is really amazing. Filled with antique finds combined with current silhouettes, the pieces are totally unique. Check out a few of my faves:

Following the event, my fave girlfriends and I sat down for a de-lish (as if there is any other kind) meal at Blue Ribbon Bakery. Love those guys and LOVE THAT BREAD! Yum. What a perfect night!

Decadestwo Sale Blows Up!

I had such a blast working on the press for the most recent Decadestwo pop-up shop in New York. Not only is the client amazing, but the response from editors was unbelievable. Everyone wanted to get their hands on the goods and since the Decadestwo celeb/high-fashion angle makes for a great story, the results were fabulous (if I do say so myself)!

Here is a look at some of the pieces that were quickly snatched up:

Louboutin Row
By far the most attractive piece of news was the $150 shoe sale event, which took place on the final day of the pop-up: Sunday, March 21st. Daily Candy publicized the sale (http://bit.ly/cOZ4lw) and in turn we gave them 25 first-in-line spots. That was one of the craziest events I have ever worked! In addition to receiving nearly 1500 emails for those highly-coveted spots, we had a line of girls (and boys!*) wrapped around 2 city blocks waiting to get in!
*Quote of the day from an eager boyfriend/husband, "I'm here for the red soles!"

Luckily I was able to score a pair of adorable red patent Louboutins for myself - I figured after all of this hard work I deserved a treat!

And for anyone who missed this spectacular event, Decadestwo hosts bi-monthly sales on HauteLook.com and has a full nationwide pop-up tour in the works for 2010!

And while some of us may be holding out for the real thing, you have to appreciate the charm of this silver engagement ring. Does this come in a princess cut?

Wearing Your Heart on Your Sleeve

Although some say Vogue is the fashion bible, and yes, I am a subscriber, I am not ashamed to admit I relate far more to Teen Vogue than its (dare I say) senior counterpart. TV's perfectly edited selection of clothing and jewelry is way more my speed than pieces such as the $43,000 H.Stern Diamond necklace found on the pages of the Real Deal. So it is for this reason I am totally honored to have Juliet & Company's Love Spinner featured in Teen Vogue's blog featuring fab holiday gifts! Check out the full article here:

Time Out always covers the coolest in NYC events, shopping and dining so it's no surprise their children's mag (Time Out New York Kids) covers the best in kid-friendly activities. This month's issue includes a story on age-appropriate jewelry for little ones. Resident jewelry expert and Lunessa shop owner, Elise Perelman, who offers kids' jewelry making parties and after-school programs right in the boutique, is quoted in the issue!
